William was born to William Dennis Hood and Margaret L. Lough-Hood, April 11, 1926 in Tulsa, OK. William served in the United States Marine Corps during WWII and the Korean Conflict. After returning from the service William attended college, graduating with a degree in Accounting. He worked for Fred Jones Ford, retiring after 34 years of service. William is survived by: his wife, Betty of the home; son, Mark Hood of Tulsa; 2 daughters, Paula Neal and her husband, Keith of Owasso and Carolyn Young and her husband, Doug of Tulsa; 2 brothers, Dennis Hood of Wagoner and Joseph Hood of Tulsa; a sister, Margaret Hill of Tulsa, OK; 3 very special grandchildren, Gina Neal, Doug Neal and Shari Dabby; and 2 great-grandchildren, Dakota and Emmie Nichols. William was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha Alice Hood. The family would like to say a special Thank You to Trinity Hospice of Claremore for their caring and support through this extremely difficult time. A very special Thank You to Judy Rose (JUDY, JUDY, JUDY). Service for Mr. Hood will be Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at 1 p.m. at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in The Garden of the Last Supper in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
