Ave., on the north side of 41st St., across the street from the Wagoner county R.W.D. No. 4 Water Tower. This cemetery is an unmaintained, public burial ground. Wagoner County could tell me nothing about it, but Jack's Funeral Home, in North Tulsa, said the County does the grave digging, and many people who formerly lived in the area, especially African Americans, are buried here. Many graves are unmarked, and the cemetery has been vandalized. Because of years of overgrowth in parts of the cemetery, I feel sure there are more graves, especially unmarked or marked by small flat stones, than we were able to find. The "rows" are loosely defined. Our survey began in the southwest corner of the cemetery, with each row transcribed from the south to north edge of the cemetery (with the exception of a small, chain-link enclosed portion, which is indicated). Comments by transcribers are in [ ].
