All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Floral Haven Memorial Gardens--Tulsa OK GOLLOWAY -- Dorothy Evelyn, died Sunday, September 24, 2006, in Tulsa. She was born November 28, 1920, in Stone Bluff, OK, to Charles and Lula Smith. She married Phillip Golloway, in Sedan, KS, in 1944. Dorothy was employed as Editor of the Tulsa County News, in the 1950's, Tulsa Legal News reporter in the 1950's. In 1976, she began working in the civil department of the Tulsa County Court Clerk's office, where she retired in 1988. She was known as "the cake lady" at the court house. She was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Timmy L. Smith, John W. Smith; sisters, Nancy Ann Smith and Elizabeth Haynes; husband, Phillip; and son, Michael Golloway. She is survived by: 3 children, Charles Golloway, Oklahoma City, Phillip and Suemi Golloway, Edmond, Joan and Maurice Clyma, Tulsa; 8 grandchildren, including "her Rock" Geri Bauhaus; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at St. Catherine Catholic Church, with interment following in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Alderwoods-Heath Funeral Home, 446-6633.
