All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The following obituary is taken from "The Davis News," Thursday, June 2, 1992 -- Page 3: NETA GREER Funeral services for Neta Greer, 87, Tulsa, were May 28 at Fox Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Griffin and Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Greer was born March 1, 1907 at Wagoner, Indian Territory and died May 26 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. Her parents were A. J. and Minnie (Trout) Graham. She married Hartwell Greer January 17, 1931 at Tulsa. He preceded her in death January 20, 1977. She was a retired Davis School teacher. She lived in Davis for many years before moving to Tulsa. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Euterpean Music Club, Twentieth Century Club and Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, Jack Greer of Tulsa; two grandchildren, Gary Greer of West Palm Beach, Florida and Lynn Morgan of Bixby; four great- grandchildren, Chloe and Stirling Greer and David and James Morgan; a brother-in-law, John Greer of Abilene, Texas and several nieces and nephews. Pall bearers were Dr. Ralph Connell, Jerry Fullerton, John Riddlehoover, Dale Greer, Gary Greer and Steve Morgan. Typed exactly as spelled and printed. To my personal knowledge she did teach high school English Literature.
