Hall, 86, of Amarillo, died Monday, Aug. 25, 1997. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Larry Ellis, pastor of First United Pentecostal Church of Canyon, officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Porter Cemetery at Porter, Okla. Mr. Hall was born in Thompson, Ark., and moved to Oklahoma as a young boy. He moved to Yakima, Wash., in 1955, and worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Union Local No. 302 for about 50 years. Mr. Hall moved to Amarillo in 1991. He was active in the community of Country Estates, where he helped mow medians and build carports. He married Edna Schwarz in 1947 at Pryor, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Steve Hall of Amarillo; a sister, Geraldine Jervis of Richard, Wash.; and two grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, P.O.
