HOWE - Imelda Jane (Mac), left this life on Thursday, October 18, 2007. She was born to Martin Henry and Mary Agatha McNamara on January 21,1925, in Wagoner, OK. She was the "baby" of six children. After graduating from Wagoner High School she attended Oklahoma A&M and graduated as an RN from St. John's School of Nursing. She married Elliott (Bill) Howe in 1950 and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage. For many years she was the owner and operator of Penn Messenger Transfer Company. She had a passion for showing and racing horses, fishing, football, and at least attempting to pull off jokes. She is survived by: daughter, Sally Howe Smith, son-in-law, Jerry L. Smith, and grandson, Tucker Judson Smith; son, Elliott H. Howe, Jr. and granddaughter, Virginia Katelynn Howe; daughter, Nancy Howe Lassiter, son-in-law, Stephen C. Lassiter; grandsons, Hunter Howe Cates and Dustin Howe Cates; brother, Dan McNamara; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Her warmth, compassion, devotion, loyalty, spirited personality and sense of humor will be greatly missed by those who love her and we are all the better for having her in our lives. Rosary will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday October 23, 2007 at Ninde's Brookside Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday October 24, 2007 at Calvary Chapel. 742-5556.
