He was born February 19, 1939 in Hulbert to parents Jesse Elmer and Ava Samantha Adams Moore. He grew up and attended school in Hulbert. He worked for many years as an automotive specialist, mostly at Pine Street Salvage in Tulsa, until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and working in his yard. He was a big fan of John Wayne, but his greatest love were his children. Buddy was known as a giving and caring person, who always showed concern for others. Buddy was preceded in death by: his parents, his brothers, Willie, Jesse, Bennie, Fred, Charley and Harley Moore; his sister, Mae Moss. He is survived by: daughters Brenda Heath and Rhonda Moore, both of Wagoner, and Rebecca Young; a stepdaughter, Tammy Marie Dick of Tahlequah; two brothers, John D. Moore of Claremore, and Andy Moore of Sand Springs; three sisters, Ruby Bailey of Oakhurst, Marie Vinson of Wagoner and Ethel Gobble of Grove; several grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, including Larry Moore of Wagoner, other relatives and many friends. Final arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner. His remains were buried in IOOF Cemetery in Hulbert.
