He died in Wagoner on April 10, 1971 following an apparent heart attack. He was dead on arrival at Wagoner Hospital. He was born February 7, 1926 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Jesse Elmer & Ava Samantha Adams Moore. He had lived in Hulbert most of his life but had lived in Wagoner for about 5 ½ years. He was unemployed but at one time was a maintenance employee of the City of Wagoner. Surviving are his wife, Sarah of the home at Hulbert: five daughters, Marjorie of Texas and Barbara, Linda, Cathy and Sharon, all of the home; one son, Tommy of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ava Moore of Siloam Springs, AR; seven brothers, Harley of Wisconsin, Fred, Bud and Andrew, all of Wagoner, Jesse Lee of Muskogee and John D. and Willie, both of Tulsa, and four sisters, Mae Moss of Wagoner, Marie Vinson of Siloam Springs and Ruby Bailey and Ethel Gobble, both of Tulsa. Burial was in Eureka Cemetery under the direction of Mallet Funeral Home of Wagoner.
