Orville Childress officiating. Jesse died April 24, 1962 at his home in Wagoner at the age of 72, after suffering a heart attack. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Cherokee and Wagoner county for 71 years. He was born June 15, 1889 in Arkansas to William Larkin and Louanna Dunlap Moore. He married Mamie Evans on March 11, 1911. After Mamie's death he married Ava Samantha Adams on October 11, 1919 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Ava of the home: nine sons, Bennie, John D., Fred and Willie, all of Oakhurst, Harley of Adair, Jessie of Muskogee, Andy of the home, Charley of Hulbert and Buddy of Bosston, Massachusetts; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Faye Bailey of Prattville, Mrs. Marie Vinson and Mrs. Mae Moss, both of Wagoner and Mrs. Ethel Gobble, of Oakhurst; three sisters, Mrs Francis Walker, Mrs. Julie Swan and Mrs. Addie Shearrer, all of Wagoner; two brothers, Frank and John D. both of Wagoner: 30 grandchildren and 14 great-grand children Burial was in IOOF Cemetery in Hulbert, Oklahoma with Green Funeral Home in Charge of the burial.
