He was a farmer. He lived in Wagoner, Oklahoma the last 48 years of his life. He died May 12, 1941 at the age of 102 years 7 months and 27 days. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Lou (Dunlap) Moore. Death Certificate list that he was in the Civil War He was buried at IOOF Cemetery in Hulbert, Oklahoma on May 14, 1941 under the direction of Green Funeral home of Wagoner, Oklahoma. He was survived by three sons, Frank, Jesse Elmer, & John D.; three daughters, Julie Swan, Sarah Frances Walker, & Addie Shearrer and several nieces & nephews.
