All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--Tulsa OK Published in MUSKOGEE PHOENIX on October 25, 2006 Alice Irene Sellers 1923 - 2006 Alice Irene Sellers was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Jess Goodpaster and Mary Elizabeth Crowder. She graduated from Wagoner high School. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Tom Sellers, one son, Tommy Dale Sellers and his wife, Barbara, one daughter, Libby Crandell and her husband, Ron, one brother, Wayne Goodpaster and his wife, Mary, two grandsons, David Sellers and Rocky Kithchingham, 5 great-grandchildren, special niece, Arlene Hays and numerous other nieces & nephews, great nieces and nephews. Irene & Tom were married on April 1, 1947 in Muskogee, OK, where they resided until 1980. Irene attended West Side Church of Christ in Muskogee until moving to Gore, OK and had been a member for 26 years at Lakeside Church of Christ in Gore. She had a loving, supportive church family and many close friends. Irene worked for Muskogee Public Schools as secretary for 26 years before retiring in 1985. She loved to travel, visit & joke with people, have lunch with the girls, fish for crappie on Lake Tenkiller and enjoyed life. She was a devoted Christian, wife and mother and has now gone home to be with the Lord. Funeral services for Irene Sellers will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Lake Road Church of Christ in Gore with Don Cherry officiating. Pallbearers are David Sellers, Rocky Kithchingham, David Hays, Ronnie Hays, Frankie Hays, Dennis Hays and Mike Hays.
