The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ======================================================================== Source: Obituary ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2:00p.m. in the Pentecostal Holiness Church for William "Ben" Vinson 92, with Reverend Russel Snelson of Coweta officiating. He died August 6, 1960 in the home of a son, Leslie, in Wagoner. Vinson a resident of Wagoner the past 2 years. A retired farmer and native of Missouri, Vinson fell several weeks ago and broke a hip. He was born February 14, 1876 in Taney County, Missouri to A.W. & Rebecca Vinson. He married Mattie Bennett on October 3, 1901 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He is survived by two sons, Leslie of Wagoner, and Dock of Neosho, Mo; two daughters, Mrs Opal Teague of Wagoner and Mrs. Florence Floyd of Oklahoma City; 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Burial will be under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Wagoner and burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Hulbert.
