Bouton Mrs. Betty Louise (Klewer) Bouton, 80, wife of Mr. Robert W. Bouton, Bartlesville resident since 1990, died at 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday October 18 in the Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville. Funeral services for Mrs. Bouton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Dewey United Methodist Church. Rev. Roland Youngberg will be the officiant. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Memorial Park Cemetery by The Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Mrs. Bouton will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where family and friends may call for their visitation until she is removed to the church for final rites. A memorial has been established in Betty's name and the family would greatly appreciate your gifts be made to the American Heart Association P. O. An Oklahoma native, Betty Louise Klewer was born in Dewey, Oklahoma on January 4, 1926. She was the daughter of Edward C. and Juanita Maxine (Saar) Klewer. Betty was reared in Dewey and graduated with the Dewey senior class of 1944. On May 15, 1946, she was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Bouton and they made their home in Aniston, Alabama while Mr. Bouton was in the service. After Mr. Bouton's discharge from the service, they spent one year in Tonkawa, Oklahoma attending school and two years in Stillwater where Mr. Bouton finished his education. Mr. Bouton was an employee of the Phillips Petroleum Co. and during his tenure the Boutons had residences in Chicago, Illinois, Longview, Houston, Hurst and Dumas, Texas and moved to Bartlesville in 1990 following retirement from Phillips. Betty was a member of the Dewey United Methodist Church and had been a very active member of the Dumas, Texas Home Demonstration Club and was named "Woman of the Year." Survivors are her husband Robert; a son and daughter-in-law Wayne Alan Bouton and Janet of Roswell, New Mexico; a daughter and son-in- law Anita Brenholtz and Kendal of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandchildren Amy Nelson, Michelle Billings, Stefanie Consadine, Sonya Brenholtz, Carter Brenholtz, Chris Brenholtz and Mandy Bouton; and great grandchildren Trace Billings, Joslynn Billings, Caleb Consadine, Mason Consadine and Logan Brenholtz. Preceding her in death were her father; mother and brother, Robert Klewer.
