William M. Black

William M. Black, 67, former resident of Ramona, died at 1:30 a.m., July 
26, 1938, at the Washington County Farm, Bartlesville, Oklahoma.   Mr.

Black was born on October 31, 1871, to John Black and Elizabeth Dorman 
Black in Kansas. Surviving him are 5 sons:  Lucian Black, Jay, Oklahoma, 
George W. Black, Ramona, Oklahoma, C. Lavern Black, Hobbs, New Mexico, 
Jerious (Jay) M. Black, Ramona, Oklahoma, Houston W. Black of New Mexico; 
2 daughters, Ada May Empey and Edna A. Price, both of Illinois; 2 sisters, 
Etta May Howard, Idaho, Dora Phillips, Illinois and several grandchildren.  
Mr. Black was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George and  
children, Calvin, Benjamin, Catherine Elizabeth, Zelma, Thelma  and Edward 
Black.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at Ramona.  The body is at the 
McCallister Funeral Home until this afternoon when it was transferred to a 
funeral home at Skiatook.
