Blankenship Mrs. Lorea Lucille Blankenship, 82, former resident of the Ochelata and Ramona area, died at 7:20 A.M. Saturday, February 21st at the Silver Lake Care Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Blankenship will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Ochelata United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Dye and Rev. Chad Perceful officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Casket escorts will include Danny Cherry, Henry Rowbotham, Dick Willis, John Willis, Gary Young, Thomas Young, Bruce Willis, and Jimmy Dale Willis. Honorary casket escorts will include Kirk Brewster, Richard Roach, and Elmer Willis. A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Ochelata United Methodist Church, Ochelata, Oklahoma, 74051. Lucille was born on September 7, 1920, at Peggs, Oklahoma to Arvel and Altie (Mize) Willis. On December 14, 1938 she was married to Nelson (Dome) Blankenship. They moved to several places until 1947 when they settled in the Ochelata and Ramona area. Lucille was a member of the Ochelata United Methodist Church and until a few years ago was an active member of the Ochelata United Women. Earlier she was a member of the Rebecca Sewing Club. Lucille is survived by one son, Ernest Loyd Blankenship and his wife, Julia of Ochelata, two daughters, Pauline Gallamore and her husband William, of Ramona, Janice Souter of Tulsa, three grandsons, three granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bob Willis of Locust Grove, Jimmy Willis of Catoosa, three sisters, Lorene Cherry of Catoosa, Norma Young of Verdigris, and Barbara Rowbotham of Tulsa. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Nelson (Dome) in March of last year.
