All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Dewey Cemetery--Dewey OK Harold Blair Dies; Rites Set Monday Harold E Blair, 69, a native and lifelong resident of Bartlesville, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Nowata General Hospital after having suffered an apparent heart attack there. Mr Blair was born in Bartlesville on May 16 1904, and was reared and educated in Bartlesville, attending Bartlesville schools. As a young man he was active in early-day oil field activities in the surrounding Bartlesville fields prior to 1936 at which time he associated himself with the National Zinc Company and was active with National Zinc until his retirement in 1969. He and his wife, Mrs. Pauline Blair have made their home in Bartlesville since his retirement. He became ill last June and was hospitalized in the Nowata General Hospital last Monday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline Blair of the home at 1812 S Keeler, one son, Bill D. Blair, Ventura Calif., two daughters, Mrs Carl (Erma) Williams, Arkansas City, Kan., and Mrs Mary Ann Wilson, 128 N. Virginia, Bartlesville; three brothers, Rolla Blair and Elmer L Blair, both of Bartlesville, and Herbert Blair, Cougar Wash.; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
