All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Bentonville Cemetery--Bentonville AR Billy Wayne Bonds CENTERTON, Ark. - Billy Wayne Bonds, 69, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church of Bentonville with the Rev. Phillip Smith and Tim Ward, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Bentonville Cemetery by Callison-Lough Funeral Home. Mr. Bonds was born July 26, 1934, in Happy, Texas, to G.J. and Inez Simpson Bonds. On Dec. 10, 1953, he married Nadine Anderson in Bentonville. Mr. Bonds was a retired fireman at the rank of captain in Bartlesville, Okla. After retiring in 1978, they moved to Centerton, where he raised cattle. He was a member of Bartlesville Masonic Lodge No. 284 A.F. & A.M., the Oklahoma Firefighters' Association and Arkansas Cattleman's Association. He enjoyed oil painting, fishing and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Eugene Bonds, G.J. "Bus" Bonds Jr., and Jack Bonds. Survivors include his wife; a son, David Bonds and wife, Theresa, of Bentonville; a daughter, Alisa Berggren and husband, Daryl, of Bentonville; a brother, J.E. "Pete" Bonds of Bella Vista; a sister, Johnnie Shaffer of Bentonville; and four grandchildren, Matthew and Heather Berggren and Jennifer and Zachary Bonds, all of Bentonville. Pallbearers include Rick, Jeff, Shug and Larry Bonds, Jerry and Curtis Bolain, Shane Clark and Howard Berggren. The family suggests memorials be to Centerton Fire Department of First Baptist Church Building Fund, 200 S.W. A St., Bentonville, AR 72712.
