Bourne HOUSE, N.M. - Fronia M. Bourne, 73, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Melrose Methodist Church in Melrose with Joe Henegar officiating. Burial will be in Hassell Cemetery at Hassell by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mrs. Bourne was born in Bartlesville, Okla. She married Henry Arthur Bourne in 1943 at Bartlesville. They moved to the House area that same year. Mrs. Bourne was a homemaker and a member of the McAllister Quilting Club and the IMA Quilting Club. She also president of the House 39ers Club. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991 and by a daughter, Naomi Jones. Survivors include three daughters, Terrell Thompson of Melrose, Wynella Shaw of Portales and Beverly Stein of Denison, Texas; five brothers, Roy Fox of Bayfield, Colo., Paul Fox, John Fox and Gene Fox, all of Bartlesville, and Robert Fox of Dewey, Okla.; three sisters, Mamie Asay and Rubye White, both of Sacramento, Calif., and Betsy Cobler of Rainier, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Hart Youth Ranch, the Baptist Children's Home, the American Cancer Society or the Phillip Hutcherson Fund at Portales National Bank.
