Burnett Marta J. Burnett, 48, of Bartlesville, died at 11:38 A.M. Friday at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Memorial services for Mrs. Burnett will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial has been established to the Washington County S.P.C.A., 16620 State Highway 123, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74003. Marta was born in Bartlesville on May 25, 1958 to Carlton L. and Mary Joan (Carpenter) Richesin. She graduated from Owasso High School in 1977 and later attended the University of Arkansas Little Rock where she received her Bachelors degree in Accounting and later became a CPA. She served in the U.S. Army from 1983 to 1986 and she was married to Kenneth Clayton Burnett Jr. in Missouri in 2002. Her entire life was dedicated to saving animals and she had been active with Animal Rescue Foundation. She was also an artist that worked primarily with metal art. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Clayton Burnett Jr. of Bartlesville, one son, Carey Wooldridge and his wife, Andrea of Broken Arrow, Okla., one daughter, Tina Fielder and her husband, Andy of Bartlesville, two step sons, Kenny Burnett and Steve Burnett, both of Bartlesville, her father, Carlton “Pappy” Richesin of Copan, one sister, Misty Hickey of Slickville, Pennsylvania, one brother, Chris Richesin of Caney, Kansas, one grandchild, Jacob Cantrel, and three step grandchildren, Brenna Burnett, Noele Burnett, and Cooper Burnett.
