Bruner Roxy Marguerite Burner, 65 of Yakima, Washington, died Saturday in a Yakima Hospital. Mrs. Bruner was born February 19, 1922 at Sunnyside, Washington to Morgan and Retta Smith Fugate. She came to Ramona, Oklahoma at the age of five and grew up in Oklahoma. In 1935, she moved to Yakima, Washington. She was married to Delbert Bruner at Yakima on April 255, 1938. She graduated from the Yakima Valley Community College in 1958 and had been a registered nurse at the New Valley Osteopathic hospital until her retirement in 1981. Mrs. Bruner is survived by her husband, Delbert Bruner, Yakima, Washington; six sons, Huston Black, Ramona, Oklahoma, Les Minton, Weaverville, Washington, Marcus Bruner, Bellevue, Washing, Phillip Bruner and Delbert (Skip) Bruner, both of Yakima, Washington and Paul Bruner of Tacoma, Washington; four daughters, Retta Winbigler, Redmond Bend, Washington, Sheriena Bruner of Noth Bend, Washington, Densilla (Denny) Bruner, Seattle, Washington, and Christine McClincy, Marysville, Washington; one brother Neal Fugate of Joplin, Mo; three sisters, Nell Frost, Carthage, Mo, Winnie Guthrie, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ellen White of Rogers, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Private services for Mrs. Bruner were held Monday in Yakima, Washington. Friends who wish may visit the Stumpff Funeral Home for visitation from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Wednesday. Graveside services for Mrs. Bruner will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 1987, in the Ramona Cemetery with Rob Kruckenberg and Bill Cavin of the Ramona Church of Christ officiating. A memorial has been established to the Hatian Childrens Fund, in care of the Trinity Broadcasting, Santa Ana, California.
