Cleveland from 4-29-2003 Examiner Enterprise Mr. Wesley W. Cleveland age 67, of rural Dewey died at 4:18 p.m. Sunday in the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Cleveland will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Dewey with Rev. Roland Youngberg and Rev. Gerry Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Mr. Cleveland was born on August 10, 1935 in Dewey Oklahoma to Benjamin Howard and Jennie Mae (Buttman) Cleveland. He and Pat Stringer were united in marriage on August 14, 1954 in Bartlesville. Mr. Cleveland was associated with the Verdigres Valley Electric Company as a line foreman retiring in 1999 after 35 years. After retirement he and Pat owned and operated the Linger Longer Antique Shop in Dewey. He was active in farming and had a love for computers and was also a poet. Mr. Cleveland is survived by his wife Pat of the home, two sons; Wesley and Debbie Craig Cleveland of Pierce, Colorado, David Warren and Melissa Cleveland of Bartlesville, two daughters; Carol Annette Cleveland Dowell of Bartlesville and Patricia Lynnette and Daniel Gunter of Dewey, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his mother Jennie of Dewey, one brother Dale and Saundra Cleveland of Bartlesville, one sister; Lenora and Jim LeBlanc of Tulsa, one sister-in-law; Irene Cleveland of Arkansas City, Kansas, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
