All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== Surnames: CULLISON, MARTIN, HARRIS, VADEN, CORTEZ from 1-19-2003 Examiner Enterprise Mr. Philip Wayne Cullison Mr. Philip Wayne Cullison, 73, a longtime Washington County resident and retiree of the City of Bartlesville, died at 3:00 a.m. on Saturday in Bartlesville. Funeral services for Mr. Cullison will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the graveside in the Havana, Kansas Cemetery. Mr. Leon Martin will be the officiant. The James H. Teel American Legion Post #105 will accord him full military rites. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Havana Cemetery by The Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Philip Wayne Cullison will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for their visitation until he is removed to the graveside for final rites on Tuesday afternoon. A native of Oklahoma, Philip Wayne Cullison was born in Wann on June 24, 1929. He was the son of the late Homer Ira and Helen Pauline (Harris) Cullison. Philip was reared and received his education in the Antioch Schools. He was enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1948 and served until he received his honorable discharge in 1952. Philip served in Germany and following his military connection Philip returned to Oklahoma and was an employee of the Dewey Portland Cement Company until their closing. He then was employed by the City of Bartlesville where he remained until his retirement. Philip Wayne Cullison was a member of the James H. Teel American Legion Post #105. Mr. Cullison is survived by three brothers, Stephen J. and wife, Wilberta Cullison, Jim D. and wife, Susan Cullison, both of Bartlesville, and Homer E. and wife, Norma Cullison, Claremore, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Gene (Beverly) Vaden, Bartlesville and Mrs. Joe (Glena) Cortez, Stockton, California; and 17 nieces and nephews.
