COLEMAN OCNS - April 9, 2002 - Paul E. Coleman, 56, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away at 10:35 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2002, in Integris Baptist medical Center in Oklahoma City. Mr. Coleman was born April 6, 1946 at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Elsie Coleman. He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, graduating from College High School in 1964. He received a BA in Sociology in 1968 and in 1969 a BS in Hospital Administration from Oklahoma Baptist University. September 14, 1969, Paul married Judy Cook and, for the last eighteen years they made their home in Edmond. Paul was in hospital and clinic management from 1969-1978 and insurance sales from 1978-present. He was an Eagle Scout who served his community as a Cub scout Master, Sunday school teacher and an active Republican. Survivors include: His wife Judy and daughter Emily, both of the home; his son, John and his wife, Sara and their daughter Olivia of Edmond; his brother, Kenneth Coleman and his wife, Lynda of Bethany, Oklahoma; his sister, Cathy Fox and her husband, Philip of Rich Hill, Missouri; his parents, Harold and Elsie Coleman of Bartlesville; two nephews, four nieces, two great nieces and one great nephew. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, at First Baptist Church, Fourth and Cherokee, Bartlesville, with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Nazih Zuhdi Transplantation Institute of Integris Baptist Medical Center, 3300 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK and sign their organ donation option on their driver's license. Walker-Brown Funeral Home of Bartlesville is in charge of arrangements.
