Clark from 4-21-2003 Examiner Enterprise Margaret Irene Clark, 90, of Bartlesville, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Easter Sunday morning, April 20, 2003. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Charles E. "Chuck" Cowell of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Memorial funds have been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Bible-A-Month Club, P.O. Box 1828, Merrifield, VA, 22116-9724, or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, P.O. Box 779, Minneapolis, MN, 55440-0779, or to the First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1136, Bartlesville, Okla., 74005. Mrs. Clark was born on November 16, 1912 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Edward A and Bertha (Soblotni) Nowak. She attended and graduated from the Bartlesville Public School System in 1930. Upon graduation, she worked for ITIO for 10 years as a stenographer. She was married to Ed R. Clark on December 22, 1934 and they were married for 60 years until he preceded her in death in 1994. She devoted her life to her husband and children. She was a leader for the Boys and Girl Scouts of America, and was very involved in her children's many extra-curricular activities. Mrs. Clark was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bartlesville where she taught Sunday School. One of the highlights of her life was a trip to the Holy Land at the age of 83. Her love of flowers, gardening and fishing brought her many hours of joy and contentment. She was a blessing to many and greatly loved! Mrs. Clark is survived by three children, Eddie Clyde Clark of Afton, Okla., Mary Elizabeth Pierce of Dana Point, Calif., Kathleen Ann Vincent of Sulphur, Louisiana, one step-son, Dr. Edwin Merle Clark of Newport Beach, Calif., a sister, Mary Guy of Bartlesville and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Nowak of Bartlesville, six grandchildren, Dylan Mackey of Bartlesville, Okla., Kimberly Zobisch of Medford, Okla, Heather Pierce of San Francisco, Calif., Mitchell Pierce of Santa Barbara, Calif., Trey Vincent of Sulphur, Louisiana and Shelley V. Harder of Indianapolis, Indiana, and four great grandchildren.
