Alfred G. Davis

Mr. Alfred G. Davis, 81 year old longtime resident and widower of Ruby 
Pearle Davis died Saturday morning, February 8, 2003, at the Heritage 
Villa Care Center.

Mr. Davis was born on May 10, 1921 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the son of 
G. M. and Elizabeth (Dillard) Davis. He and Ruby Pearle Howell were united 
in marriage on June 7, 1941 in Roby, TX. Following Mr. Davis' discharge 
from the U.S. Army, they moved to Bartlesville. Mr. Davis worked in 
Trucking and Landscaping until his retirement. Mrs. Davis preceded him in 
death on February 2, 1995. He was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist 
Church and loved to discuss the Bible.

Mr. Davis is survived by his five children, Ann Ramon and husband Ines, 
Jr. of Robstown, TX, Tom Davis of Pierce City, MO, Donald Davis and wife 
Toni of Bartlesville, Brenda VanHorn and husband David of Bartlesville, 
and Patricia Jones and husband Kenny of Moore, OK; a brother, Louis Davis 
and wife Hazel of Dewey; eleven grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren. His wife, parents, two daughters, and 2 grandsons preceded 
him in death.

Graveside services for Mr. Davis will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 
10, in the family plot of Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ralp Dershem 
officiating. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of the 
Neekamp Funeral Home.

A memorial been established in Mr. Davis' name with the American Cancer 
Society. Those wishing to remember Mr. Davis in this manner may do so in
