All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Darnold Jr., Henry Arthur 1935 - 2005 Henry Arthur Darnold Jr., 69, a medical technologist and chemist, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at a local hospital. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of University Christian Church, with Dr. Alan Lobaugh officiating. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home. Memorials: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, Va. 22038-1131. Henry Arthur Darnold Jr. was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Bartlesville, Okla. His avocation from childhood was music. Trained professionally, he had perfect pitch and was able to play both piano and organ and sing. He was a member of the Bison Glee Club while at Oklahoma Baptist University and performed with the Turtle Creek Chorale. He also made solo performances in churches from El Paso to Dallas and Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Shawnee and Bartlesville, Okla. Survivors: Twin daughters, Kimberly Lanier and her husband, Sheldon of Fort Worth, Amanda French and her husband, Todd of Raleigh, N.C.; son, Brian Arthur Darnold and his wife, Angela; their mother, Sylvia Darnold, all of Pryor, Okla.; grandchildren, Tryston Lanier, Brittany Brown and Kyle Brown; sisters, Charlotte Boop and her husband, Foster of Carlsbad, Calif., Judith Lindemuth and her husband, Jere of York, Pa.; brother, Douglas Darnold of Dallas; nephews and nieces.
