All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--Bartlesville OK William Calvin Diehl Dies; Rites Thursday William Calvin (Tex) Diehl, 79, retire employee of the Phillips Petroleum Co., died at 3:05 p.m. on Tuesday in the Jane Phillips Building of the local medical center where he was rushed following an apparent heart attack suffered earlier in the afternoon while he was fishing on Lake Hudson. Funeral services will be ehld at 4 p.m. Thursday in the sanctuary of the First Assembly of God CHurch. The Rev. Robert Palvado will officiate for his services and internment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. A native of Kansas, Diehl was born on march 9, 1907 at Highland, where he spent his earlier life and received schooling. He was married on Sept. 4, 1932 at Vinita, to Miss Beulah Scott and they established their first home in Bartlesville, moving to Tulsa the following year when he joined the Continental Banking Company. Mr. and Mrs. Diehl returned to Bartlesville in 1949 and Diehl joined the Phillips Petroleum Company's General Services Department in 1950, where he remained until his retirement in 1969. A 32 degree Mason, FrDiehl was a member of the Bartlesville masonic Lodge No. 284 AF&AM; a Royal Arch Mason; and member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Tulsa Consistory and he attended the First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Diehl of the home, 2219 East Tuxedo Blvd; on son, Robert J (Bob) Diehl. 119 Mockingbird Lane; two daughters, Mrsk John (Mary Rosalie) Cowan, 104 Spring Road, and Mrs Paul (Linday Kay) Gonzi, 401 South Seneca, one brother, Daniel W.
