(Larrimore) Egan, 90, retired certified medical assistant, died Sunday. Service 2 p.m. Wednesday, First Baptist Church. Stumpff, Bartlesville. Tulsa World Tues April 4, 2006 Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise April 4, 2006 Ruth W. Egan Mrs. Ruth W. (Larrimore) Egan, 90, died at 5:08 A.M. Sunday at the Heritage Villa Nursing Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Egan will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Dewey with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Casket escorts will include Kevin Egan, Shawn Chapman, John Chapman, Paul Brower, Ed Egan, and Henry McClure. A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions for the Crafts & Activities Fund, Heritage Villa Nursing Center, 1244 Woodland Loop, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006. Mrs. Egan was born on March 10, 1916 at Higgins, Texas to Robert A. and Jamima Dolly (Gibson) Combs. The family moved to Dewey, Oklahoma in 1923. She was married to Lloyd (Jack) Egan, on January 26, 1935 in Dewey. They moved to Richmond, California in the late 1940's, to Henderson, Nevada in 1957. They returned to Dewey in 1960 and Mr. Egan preceded her in death on July 29, 1961. She was married to William Everett Larrimore on June 4, 1962 in Fairfax, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1974. Since her return to Dewey in 1960 she worked in local nursing homes as a Certified Medical Assistant and other positions until her retirement. Mrs. Egan is survived by five sons, Lloyd Egan and his wife, Pat of Lake Port, CA, Bill Egan and his wife, Nellie of Henderson, Nevada, Eddie Egan and his wife, Georgia of Wann, OK, Leon Egan and his wife, Faye of Soper, Ok., and Earl Egan and his wife, Sue of Soper, Ok., five daughters, Rosetta Carter and her husband, Bob of Lenapah, OK., Dolly Chapman of Ponca City, OK., Louise and her husband, Don of Texas, Leatha Morse and her husband, Doug of Elko, Nevada, and Heather Haley of Bartlesville, several foster children, one sister, Bonnie Shull of Broken Arrow, 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 32 great great grandchildren.
