Sidney Ray "Sid" Forrest

Mr. Sidney Ray "Sid" Forrest, 70, retired rancher, died at 11:15 AM on 
Wednesday in the St. Francis Hospital at Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday in the Dewey Cemetery 
at Dewey, Oklahoma with Rick Yocham officiating. Interment will be in the 
Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.

Mr. Forrest was born July 22, 1932 at Fairfax, Oklahoma to William and Ada 
(Sparks) Forrest. He was raised and received his education in the Butler 
Creek, Oklahoma area graduating high school there in 1950. Mr. Forrest was 
married to Greta J. Yearout on May 31, 1950 at Bentonville, Arkansas. He 
attended the Oklahoma State University graduating in 1956 with a Bachelors 
Degree in Agriculture. He owned and operated the Ochelata Sports Arena for 
thirteen years and was a horse and cattle rancher in the Bartlesville area 
for many years.

Sid is survived by one son Rasy Forrest and his wife Annie of Meeker, 
Oklahoma; two brothers Jack Forrest of Grove, Oklahoma and William Forrest 
of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister Wanda Dominguez of Grove, Oklahoma; 
three grandchildren Ashley , RayLynn and Sidney Forrest all of Meeker, 
Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Greta Forrest 
and a daughter Debby Foreman.
