Services are pending with Walker-Brown Funeral Home. ========= Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise October 25, 2006 Bill Gasaway Bill Gasaway, 69, of Bartlesville, OK, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, October 22, at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Gregory Gasaway, Rev. Brad McLean, and Dr. Joe Dan Fowler officiating. Final committal rites will be accorded Mr. Gasaway in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Bill was born July 24, 1937 in Rodessa, Louisiana to Leo and Donna (Daniel) Gasaway. He graduated from Morris High School in Morris, Oklahima, in 1955. Bill received his B.S. from Oklahoma State University and his M.S. from Texas A&M University. He taught school in Ochelata, OK, Glencoe, OK and Borger, TX and he was a Registrar and Academic Dean at Frank Phillips College in Borger. In 1979, he went to work for Phillips Petroleum Company until he retired in 1998. He was the Administrator at the American Christian School in Bartlesville from 1998 to 2000. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bartlesville. He married the love of his life, Charlotte Meador, on December 26, 1964 in Borger, Texas. Bill was a classy gentleman who loved life and loved his family. Everything about him emanated from his relationship with Christ. He loved to serve others and did so by serving on church committees and teaching Bible Study classes wherever he lived. He also loved singing in church choirs and participating in various Easter and Christmas pageants. Bill modeled what it meant to be a loving and Godly husband, father, and man and was never shy about expressing his love to his family and friends. Bill is survived by his wife Charlotte of the home; two sons, Gregory and his wife, Lyndee, of Haskell, TX, and Jeffrey and his wife, Kara of McKinney, TX; one daughter, Heidi and her husband Ken Schultz of Lausanne, Switzerland; four grandchildren, Moriah, Hunter, Garrett and Hayden; one sister, Sharon Downing of Okmulgee, OK; one brother David Gasaway of Spring Valley, OH; and many nephews and nieces and a host of friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Donna Gasaway.
