Glen Huffman Mr. C. Glen Huffman, 83, retiree of the Gas Service Co., died on Wednesday evening at his family home in Dewey, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Mr. Huffman will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the Sanctuary of the Dewey, Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Gordon Smith will be the officiant. committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Memorial Park Cemetery by The Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Mr. Huffman will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence in Bartlesville where friends may call for their visitation until he is removed for the services on Monday. Clifford Glen Huffman was born November 29, 1922 at Greenfield, Missouri. He was the son of Homer L. and Elvena (Manley) Huffman. The Huffman family came to Oklahoma and they made their home in Bartlesville where Glen was reared and received his education. He continued his education and received training in drafting in Portland, Oregon and welding in Port Arthur, Texas. In February of 1942 Glenn and the former Helen Wilson were married and God gave them a long and happy marriage and blessed them with two children. They made their home in Neodesha, Kansas for five years where Glen was employed by W. J. Small Co. prior to returning to Bartlesville where he was employed by Metal Goods Manufacturing and following a twenty- seven year career with the Gas Service Co., he was retired. Mr. Huffman was a member of the Dewey, Church of the Nazarene, Glen came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in October of 1950 at the Nazarene church at Neodesha, Kansas and was Baptized in the river there. Glen put god first in his life and was a kind and gracious man who was known to have a smile for everyone. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen (Wilson) Huffman of the Dewey home; a son, Mike of Dewey; four grandchildren, Tommy Huffman of Coffeyville, Kansas, Melissa Huffman of Dewey, Michael Huffman, Fort Hood, Texas and Corey Huffman of Dewey; a great-grandson, Tommy Huffman; a sister, Cleo McDonald of Bartlesville, a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Eugene May of Grove, Oklahoma and sister- in-law, Eva Grace Schafer, Lebanon, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. He was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvena and Homer Huffman; a brother, Theo Huffman, a daughter, Glena Jo Huffman; a grandson, Michael Jason Huffman; brother-in-law, Margie Drake; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Luada Wilson; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Ada Wilson as well as a brother-in-law, Lawrence Schafer. ========= Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise Monday, October 16, 2006 Glen Huffman Funeral services for Mr. C. Glen Huffman, 83, long time resident and retired Gas Service Company employee, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the Church of the Nazarene, Dewey, Oklahoma. Rev. Gordon Smith was the officiant. Committal prayers and interment were directed in the Memorial Park by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Casket bearers for Mr. Huffman were Floyd Walker, Jim Spaulding, Kenny Anderson, Cleo J. Harris, James "Jim" King and Bobby R. Thomison. Honorary casket bearers were Joe Jones, Andy Mogus and Lynn Prather. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen (Wilson) Huffman, of the home; a son, Mike Huffman, Dewey; grandchildren, Tommy Huffman, Coffeyville, Kansas, Melissa Huffman, Dewey, Michael Huffman, Fort Hood, Texas and Corey Huffman, Dewey; a great grandson, Tommy Huffman; sisters, Cleo McDonald, Bartlesville and Shirley May and her husband, Eugene, Grove, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Eva Grace Schafer, Lebanon, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
