Charles Weldon Huckaby born October 24, 1899 in Eldorado,KS. (not Ok.) and 
died June 04, 1953 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co.,Ok.

C.W. HUCKABY'S Rites Saturday

Rites for C.W. Huckaby, 52 year-old pipeline construction worker, will be 
At 2 P.M. Saturday in the Watts Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Sunny 
Lane Cem.

Huckaby dies of a brain tumor early thursday in his home, 1705 Ne 35. He 
was born in Eldorado (Oklahoma) and moved to Oklahoma City about 20 years 
ago. He had been in failing health for the past six weeks.

Survivors Include his wife, Mrs.Alta Huckaby, of the home; two sons, 
Charles W. Huckaby, Jr., in the army, and Kenneth Huckaby of the home; one 
adopted son,Vernon Lewis, of the home; a daughter Barbara Jean Davidson, 
of the home; his mother, Mrs.Anna hale, Oklahoma City; two brothers Edwarh 
Huckaby, Stillwater, and Truman Huckaby, Oklahoma City; a half-brother, 
Dale McElroy and a sister, Mrs. Viola Anderson, both of the city.
