John R. Houser

John R. Houser, 77, passed away April 3, 2003 in Nassau Bay; born March, 1 
1926, in Madison, Wisconsin. He served as a medic in the US Navy during WW 
II, was a past member of the Kiwanis Club and graduated with a Masters 
Degree in Economics from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He 
was a volunteer for Interfaith Caring Ministries, a member of St. Paul's 
Catholic Church and worked for 38 years at Phillips Petroleum Co. in 
Bartlesville, OK and in Houston. John is preceded in death by his first 
wife, Claire Jane Houser and his second wife, Colene Young Houser. He is 
survived by his wife of 7 years, Marjorie Houser; sons, John R. "Rick" 
Houser, Jr. and Paul J. Houser; daughter, Laura Jane Houser; stepchildren, 
Randy Young, Gary Young, Leslie Upton, Lisa Herald, Michael Herald and 
Thomas Herald; 8 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. A 
graveside service will be Monday, April 7, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Memorial 
Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK.
