November 8, 1935 Minnie M. (Allison) Hayt Obit. Hayt Rites Sunday; Auto Deaths Increase ___ County Officials Question Death Car Driver; Action Left Up To Relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie M. HAYT, who was fatally injured Wednesday night at Third and Cheyenne when struck by a car, well be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the Virginia Avenue Baptist church. Rev. Walter THOMPSON will Officiate and burial will be in White Rose with the Neekamp funeral home in charge. Dean PAYNE, 18 year old driver of the death car, was questioned yesterday by county authorities and released. Officers said thier investigations disclosed the woman had been dragged about 60 feet after the car struck her instead of 20 feet as at first reported. County Attorney HARRIS indicated that a charge might be filed against PAYNE if relatives request it. The Morning Examiner dated Thursday, November 7, 1935 names her children as Mrs. J. C.
