Hinkley Deo C. Hinkle, 86 resident of Dewey, died at 2:04 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2006 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 5, 2006 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toss Atkins of Bartlesville Church of God officiating. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mr. Hinkle may do so to: the Mayo Foundation 200 S.W. First Street, Rochester, Minnesota 55905. Mr. Hinkle was born March 9, 1920 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Elijah and Dollie May (Johnston) Hinkle. He was raised and received his education in Bartlesville. He entered the U.S. Army Air Corp on October 7, 1941 and was honorably discharged on November 3, 1945. Mr Hinkle was self employed as a painter in Bartlesville area from 1949 until his retirement in 1982. Survivors include his wife Lois Hinkle of the home in Dewey; one daughter Cheryl Foster and her husband Richard os Sand Springs, Oklahoma; two grandsons Rick Goding of Walmea, Hawaii and Tom Goding of Colorado and several nieces and nephews including R. H. Geurin and Robert Hinkle. Mr. Hinkle was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Margaret Geurin and May Belle English; four brothers E. R.
