All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Olympus Cemetery--Grove OK The Grove Sun Daily DEAN ALAN HERRINGTON 1947-2005 GROVE, Okla. - Dean Alan Herrington, 57, died January 21, 2005 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Dean Alan Herrington was born on March 15, 1947 in Bartlesville, Okla. Mr. Herrington was a graduate of College High School in Bartlesville, Okla. in 1965. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany and during the Vietnam conflict. He was united in marriage to Deborah Sunn on September 24, 1993 in Eureka Springs, Ark. Mr. Herrington owned and operated two Radio Shack Stores in Collinsville and Skiatook, Okla. Most recently, he was a self employed carpenter until his retirement in 1997. Mr. Herrington was a long time Bartlesville resident moving to Grove in 1997. Survivors include: his wife, Deborah of the home; five daughters, Debby Page of Broken Arrow, Okla., Jenifer Smith of Grand Prairie, Texas, Kimberly Herrington of Bartlesville, Okla., Diana Smith of Tulsa, Okla., and Desarea Smith of Tulsa, Okla.; two sons, Michael Herrington of Bartlesville, Okla. and David Smith of Sapulpa, Okla.; his father, Kenneth Herrington of Grove, and one brother, Gary Herrington of Grove. There are eight grandchildren. Mr. Herrington was preceded in death by his mother. The family received friends from 7-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Okla. with Dr. Jerry Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Olympus Cemetery, Grove, Okla. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital in care of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, 711 S.
