Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Parker of the First Presbyterian Church of Blackwell, Oklahoma officiating. Memorial services and cremation will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was born June 6, 1924 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to George Harrison and Estelle May (Ferguson) Jones, Sr. He was raised and received his education at Bartlesville, graduating from College High School in 1942. He was employed at the National Zinc Corporation and the Ideal Cleaners, retiring from National Zinc in 1987. Mr. Jones was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge both of Bartlesville. Survivors include two sons; David Eugene Higbee of Dewey, Oklahoma and Steven Ferrell Jones of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; three daughters Gina Gail Bussman of Collinsville, Carla Jean Sandy of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Candis Joyce Jones-Duck of Bartlesville; one brother George H. "Broom" Jones Jr. of Grove, Oklahoma; two sisters Ann Berger of Bartlesville, and his twin sister Nadine Gravitt also of Bartlesville; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two life time loyal friends Colleen Jones Fresh and Bob Griffin.
