Agnes Marie Lawson, age 84, passed away on June 17, 2003, in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a lengthy illness. Miss Lawson was born February 11, 1918, in McDonald County, Missouri, daughter of Asa Hubern Lawson and Rena B. Laughlin Lawson, and moved with her parents to Oklahoma in 1927. Miss Lawson is survived by two brothers: Charles W. Lawson and his wife, Glenna of Garland, Texas and Donald R. Lawson and his wife, Amy, of Ramona, Oklahoma; five nieces; Lois Marie Black Plett, Susan Lynn Lawson Alspach, Shelly Renee Lawson Tobey, Charan Glenetta Lawson Cooper, Dallas Texas, Rebecca (Becky) Lynetta Lawson Parker, McKinney, Texas; seven nephews: Clyde Hubern Black, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Johnie Hubern Lawson, Jr., Ramona, Oklahoma, Larry Brooks Lawson, Ochelata, Oklahoma, Gary Ray Lawson, Ramona, Oklahoma, Randy Lee Lawson, Nowata, Oklahoma, Timothy Dwight Lawson, and Jonathan Dwayne Lawson, both of Dallas, Texas, many great nieces and nephews; and a long time friend, Lucy Andrews, Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Asa Hubern Lawson and Rena B. Laughlin Lawson, one sister, Naomi Lois Lawson Black and one brother, Johnie Hubern Lawson, Sr. Graveside services were held on Friday, June 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ramona Cemetery at Ramona, Oklahoma, with Rev. Sam Phillips officiating.
