All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawson, Tressie Mrs. Tressie Ladaska (Birdsong) Lawson, 79, former Ramona resident, died during her sleep on Saturday morning at the home of her daughter-in-law in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lawson was a native of Missouri where she was born September 17, 1895. She came to the Ramona Community in 1930. She and Hayden Lawson were married here and he preceded her in death in 1951 at Rose, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lawson returned to Ramona as a practical nurse. She moved to Sand Springs in 1961 to make her home with her son, Monroe Lawson, and he preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Lawson had been a resident of Oilton following her son's death.. Funeral services for Mrs. Lawson will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday in the Ramona Friends Church. Mr. Roman Ward will be the officiant. Interment will be directed beside the grave of Mr. Lawson by the Mobley-Dobson Lakeside Funeral Home of Sand Springs, in the Ramona Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Osby Lawson, Winsboro, Texas, Cletus Lawson, Fresno, California, a daughter, Mrs. Everett (Frieda) Seabolt, Norcatur, Kansas, twenty-five grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Washington County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/washington/washington.html
