Laughry, Clo Ellen

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. - Clo Ellen Laughry, 66, died Monday, Feb. 8, 
1999.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in the Oak Park Baptist Church 
with Butch Brown, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial 
Park Cemetery by Stumpff Funeral Home of Bartlesville.

Mrs. Laughry was born in Cimarron, N. M., and grew up in Dumas, 
Texas. In 1956, she moved to Bartlesville and earned her licensed 
practical nurse license from Tri-County Tech in 1974. She was a 
member of Oak Park Baptist Church where she taught a children's Bible 
class.

She married Arthur L. Laughry in 1949 at Dumas.

Survivors include her husband; four children, David Lee Laughry of 
Houston, James Craig Laughry of Lafayette, La., Richard Nelson 
Laughry of Slidell, La., and Janet M. Parrett of Bartlesville; her 
mother, Edith A. Saunders of Lufkin, Texas; a brother, Lacy Saunders 
of Port Lavaca, Texas; two sisters, Virginia LaForge and Lynda May 
Slagle, both of Lufkin; 11 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Oak Park Baptist Church, 1536 N. 
Sunset, Bartlesville, OK 74003.
