Lamb SKELLYTOWN - Uial T. Lamb, 90, died Monday, Jan. 5, 1998, at Bartlesville, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel at Pampa with Dr. Derrell Monday, pastor of Central Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Pampa. Mr. Lamb was born in Gassville, Ark., and moved to the Skellytown and Spring Creek communities in 1926 from Arkansas, where he had lived for 57 years. He worked as a pumper for Amoco Oil for 38 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Skellytown. He married Nina Marlar in 1927 at Arkansas. She died in 1969. He married Jessie Steven in 1971 at Skellytown. She died in 1988. He also was preceded in death by a son, Harold Lamb in 1979. Survivors include three sons, F.A. Lamb of Bartlesville, Jimmie Lamb of Sunray and Preston Lamb of Pampa; a daughter, Sue Dolan of Orange; three sisters, Gladys Williams of Oklahoma, Ethal Powell of Texarkana and Edna Covington of Borger; 14 grandchildren; and 22 greatgrandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Washington County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/washington/washington.html
