Leonard Mrs. Sarah Kathryn Leonard, 85, died Thursday at the Geriatrics Unit of the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Bogue officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials have been established with the Jane Phillips Hospice, 219 N. Virginia, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003 and the Animal Rescue Foundation, 323 E. Don Tyler, Dewey, Oklahoma 74029 for those who wish to donate in Mrs. Leonard's memory. Sarah Kathryn Leonard was born on April 19, 1917 in Columbia, Missouri. She was raised and received her education there. She married Paul Ogden at Columbia where Mr. Ogden was a professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Missouri. They later moved to Bartlesville where Mr. Ogden was employed by the Phillips Petroleum Company. While she lived in Missouri she was on several committees for the Girl Scouts, The League of Women's Voters, University Dames, Fortnightly Club and the Tuesday Club. In Bartlesville she worked with the Girl Scouts and Hillcrest Women's Golf Association. After Mr. Ogden's death she married Glenn Leonard in 1976 and they continued making their home in Bartlesville. Mr. Leonard was a retired partner of Deloitte Touche Accounting Firm. Mrs. Leonard was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Hillcrest Country Club. Mrs. Leonard is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mike & Karen Ogden O'Brien of Dallas, Texas, a granddaughter and her husband, Shelley and Michael Hensley, of Bartlesville, two great grandchildren, Heather and Austin Keirsey of Bartlesville, one brother, Kent Kurtz of Columbia, Missouri, two sisters, Phyllis Wood of Salem, Virginia and Ruth Portell of Mission, Kansas, one step-daughter Bonnie Gall of Bartlesville, two step- sons Larry Leonard of Woodstock, Illinois and Fred Leonard of Northampton, Mass., one step-grandson and eight step-granddaughters.
