Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with Dr. Derrell Monday, pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. McClure was born in Coffeyville, Kan., and lived in Bartlesville, Okla., until 1942, when he moved to Phillips. He moved to Pampa in 1946 from Phillips. He worked for Phillips Petroleum and Cabot Corp. for several years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He married Edna Fern Lape in 1941 in Stillwell, Okla. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Billie Lea McClure. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carolyn Lambright of Sapulpa, Okla., Georgia Ann Word of Pampa and Barbara Jean Maynor of Collinsville, Okla.; a son, Billy George McClure of Sapulpa; nine grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Central Baptist Church.
