Jimmie Mullen

Mr. Jimmie Mullen age 94 longtime resident of Bartlesville died Thursday 
afternoon in local medical complex.

Graveside service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. in Memorial Park 
Cemetery in Tulsa with Dr. Joe Fowler pastor of the First Baptist Church 
officiating. Services are under the direction of the Walker-Brown Funeral 
Home. A memorial has been established in his name for those who wish to 
contribute may do to the American Heart Association, care of Susie 
Tallent, Box 999, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74005.

Mr. Mullen was born on August 5, 1908 in Richland, Arkansas to Jay B. and 
Margaret (Sherells) Mullen. He was employed with the Southwestern Bell 
Telephone Company for 45 years retiring in 1970. He and Maria B. Angel 
were married in 1922 she preceded him in death in 1969. He then married 
Mary Addivel in 1970 and preceded him in death in 1992. He was also 
preceded in death by a son James Mullen in July 2001.

He is survived by a son Ken Mullen of Mannford, Oklahoma, grandchildren 
Celeste Barrett of Bartlesville, Melissa Palmer of Tulsa and Kenneth 
Mullen of Tulsa, great grandchildren Kirstin Palmer and Jacob Palmer, one 
sister Dorothy Keith of Ventura, California.
