::Dumas Cemetery--Dumas TX

L.J. Montgomery

DUMAS - L.J. "Monty" Montgomery, 80, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Morrison Funeral Directors 
Chapel with Pastor Jerry Clark of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial 
will be in Dumas Cemetery.

Mr. Montgomery was born in Barry County, Missouri, and had lived in Dumas 
since 1949. He served with the Army during World War II and retired as an 
operator from Phillips Petroleum in 1981.

He married Marietta Miller in 1945 at Bartlesville, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Don Montgomery of Amarillo and David 
Montgomery of Dumas; a sister, Alma Bretz of Bartlesville; a brother, Orin 
Montgomery of Bartlesville; and three grandchildren.

The body will not be available for viewing.

The family will be at 725 Morton in Dumas.
