Roberta J. Myers

Mrs. Roberta Jo Myers, 81, resident of Bartlesville, died at 12:34 PM on
Saturday in the Emergency Room of the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Myers will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday in
the Disciples Christian Church with Dr. Sharon Watkins officiating.
Private family interment will be held in the Memorial Park Cemetery under
the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the following memorials

Roberta McNeilly Myers was born September 5, 1921 to William and Pawnee
(Kelly) McNeilly in Norman, Oklahoma. Her family moved to the Bartlesville
area where she received her formal education, graduating from Bartlesville
High School in 1939 and later attending Bartlesville Junior College. She
was employed by the Cities Service Gas Company and the YMCA before
marrying John W. Myers, on September 13, 1947. Mrs. Myers was a charter
member of Disciples Christian Church, serving as Sunday School teacher,
choir member, deacon, and on various commissions. Her husband (John W.
Myers) was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Richard Wayne Myers (and
Sharlene) of Redondo Beach, California and Donald Neil Myers (and
Valentina) of San Diego, California; one grandchild Nicholas Myers also of
San Diego, and one sister Maxine Jones of Borger, Texas. Mrs. Myers was
preceded in death by her parents and a sister Emma Jane Hensley.
