All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Stumpff FH--Bartlesville OK Martin, Timothy Dale "Pete" July 23, 1945 - Jan. 19, 2007 A memorial service for Timothy Dale "Pete" Martin, 61, of Tulsa, Okla., will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Copan United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple, in Copan, Okla. Bert Todd will officiate, and a memorial dinner will follow. Pete was born July 23, 1945, in Bartlesville, Okla., to Willard and Alma (Austin) Martin. He died Jan. 19, 2007, in Tulsa. He was raised in the Bartlesville-Dewey area until the family moved to Coos Bay in the late 1940s. They returned to Oklahoma, where he attended Dewey schools in the 1950s. Pete married Barbara Jean Kilmer in August 1965 in Bartlesville. They moved in 1975 to Oregon, where they lived for 39 years. They owned and operated an adult foster home for the state of Oregon from 1989 until Nov. 7, 2006, and served papers for the Support Enforcement Division of the state of Oregon and several law offices for the last 12 years. They retired and were moving back to their hometown of Bartlesville when Pete suddenly became ill in Ogden, Utah. He had a passion for old cars, cooking, hunting, fishing and he loved to travel. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Martin; children, Jack and James Martin of Bartlesville and Barbara Ketchum of Bartlesville; two stepsons, Phil Gaut of Texas and John Gaut of Copan; sisters, Betty Pratz of Oklahoma and Suzy Pugh of Bartlesville; sister-in-law, Dorothy Martin of Bartlesville; 18 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and three b rothers. T he family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, in care of Sandy Berenson, 6600 S.
