All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Merryfield, James Walter (Jim) James (Jim) Walter Merryfield James Walter Merryfield, passed away on August 19, 2007, in Seattle, WA, of multi-system failure. He was born on February 19, 1949, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Lauren Merryfield, of Everett; step-daughter, Lynden Eckery, of Omaha, Nebraska; his mother, Ruth Merryfield, of Seattle, WA; and brother, Kent Merryfield, of Longbeach, CA; sister, Carol Merryfield-Ross, of Oakland, CA; sister, Ann Merryfield-Christ, of Seattle, WA; and four beloved kitties. Jim earned his masters degree in computer science at The University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. Jim met Lauren in Omaha, Nebraska where they married on May 30, 1997. They then moved to the Seattle area, where Jim was employed by Premera Blue Cross, as a Computer Programmer and Analyst, up until one week before his death. Jim was active in the Evergreen Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Marysville, WA. He enjoyed singing bass in the choir and occassionally played the piano there. He participated in many adult education classes, including a poetry writing class. He recently read his work at a public poetry slam. There will be a memorial service, at the Marrysville EUUF sometime in September, date to be announced later. Jim's good heart and quick wit will be missed by many.
