John Leroy Norton

John Leroy Norton, 58, was found dead at his home Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Norton born Dec.7,1931, at Bartlesville to John H. and Lela (Shoup) 
Norton.

He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville. He married Wanda 
Flannigan in the early 1970s in Kansas. The couple lived in Bartlesville. 
and Mr. Norton worked for the Conley Trucking Company as a contract mail 
carrier. He then worked for several taxi services in the Bartlesville 
area, retiring in 1983. He was preceded in death by his wife in July 1987.

Survivors include a stepson, Bill Inman of Bartlesville: two brothers Jim 
Norton and Delbert Norton both of Sapulpa; and two grandchildren; Billey 
Inman and Danyiel Inman of Bartlesville.

Funeral services will be Wednesday  at 10 a.m. in the White Rose Cemetery 
with Rev. Bill Benefiel of the New Hope Assembly officiating. Interment 
will be in the White Rose cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff 
Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
