Ortiz Mr. Severo Aguirrie Ortiz, 77, of Bartlesville, died at 3:02 P. M. Saturday at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. A Rosary for Mr. Ortiz will be said at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the St. John Catholic Church with Father Stephen Austin officiating. Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Mr. Ortiz was born on April 22, 1925 at San Marcos, Texas to Jose and Ruth Ortiz. He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville and he served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was married to Marie Jackson on April 22, 1949 at Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Ortiz worked in the retail grocery business all of his life. He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and the American Legion. Mr. Ortiz is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Ortiz of Bartlesville, one daughter Nancy Seeley and her husband, Marty of Edmond, three grandchildren, Ed James, Nicole Smith, and Gabe Seeley, and three great grandchildren, Parker Smith, Mollianne Smith and Regan Lynn Smith, a nephew, Paul Aguirrie Ortiz of Bartlesville, a sister-in-law, Naomi Ortiz of Bartlesville, and numerous other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
